Well, I think there's no doubt she was having SOME kind of relationship with the guy. They have phone records and voice recordings.
But to be honest I guess I just don't care. I view it as two consenting adults, neither of which was married, so there was no cheating going on.
Because of the way Idol is set up I just don't think her influence is great enough that she could have really helped him win (and in the end he was out pretty early after making the final 12).
But this Clark guy just sat on this info until it was financially advantagous to go public.
I agree with what Jeremy said. How is going to USA Today getting it off your chest? There are better ways to clear your conscience. It is definitely something that is financially advantageous for him.

PS Poor Paula! Then again, she probably enjoyed it while it lasted!!
I can't say I give the guy much credibility. He's the one that got kicked off the show because he was arrested for assaulting his sister and resisting arrest and failed to disclose it to the producers. I don't believe in men beating women (or vice versa) and I wouldn't read his book if I was paid to do so.
