The good news about todays problem is that it was a COMPUTER problem that could have occured anytime (in fact, it HAS occured before).


It had nothing to do with our new Broadband service.  Which means that the new broadband service has now been running almost 72 hours without a single drop.  I don't think that EVERY happened with SBC (Sure Been Crappy) Ameritech!!!

there is still duct tape in the back cabinet, along with the speaker wire. I think the lunchroom drawer by the stove still has a roll of aluminum foil in it. Grab the 9 volt battery from one of the smoke alarms, connect to the the USB port on the back of the mainframe and voila!!! you are broadcasting! This is how I jerry-rigged my shows the last few Sundays- it works well in a pinch! A caution tho- the aluminum foil tower needs to be at least 80 ft tall to broadcast world-wide. The sucker blows away easily in the wind too....


OH HEY WAIT- we were out of speaker wire! I had to rip the doorbell wire out from the back door thats why the doorbell isn't working when the pizza guy comes.
