Greetings from San Antonio!!!!!!

no i have not moved here ( Its to FRiggin hot today. supposed to be 101 today)

We are off to Austin today to see Mama Mia.

Today I will Move on but I am in mouring.  A part of our childhood has gone to a better place.

Those of us who grew up watching TV  had seen at least one episode of Charlies Angels. Farrah Fawcett while only on Charlies Angels for one season. MADe that show. Her flip in her hair and an amaqzing actress. her tormentous relationship with John McEnroe  made headlines for years.

Michael Jackson who we all listened to and possibly to this day still own at least one album and helped define the ME generation with his music has also passed on. I  for one will miss him as a singer.   he was truly a great artist. Thriller smashed album sales to become the #1 selling album of all time. staying atop the billboard charts for 25 weeks.  racking up 20 # 1 hits on BIllboard.

YES! FRIDAY!

Today's weather will be a repeat from yesterday -- hot, humid, 102* / same for the weekend. We live about 5 miles from a little lake and I dropped off Jacob and his friend around 7 last night to swim -- they said the water was like a hot tub.

I'm thinking this is going to be a stay inside weekend...

Hooray Friday!
may be going to a spa tomorrow. FIL wants to send MIL for her b-day but wants me to go with her. She's gonna see about an appointment even tho her b-day isn't until the middle of next month. I hope it's fine but this really isn't my thing.
My Mom has her foot surgery this afternoon.

Been busy jockeying around files and making more file room. And it never fails, anytime I get around to doing this, it's like THE MAN thinks that because I'm not billing something, then I'm not doing anything... Kinda hard to do any billing if we gots nothing to bill...

There was rearrangement of some people and their desks recently, so I am going to try and snag another filing cabinet. I have more crap now that I got a lot of the old boss' boxes of years past.

Howdy.

My air conditioner at the office died yesterday so I ran around, compared prices and ended going back to the first store and buying one. Its a window air unit that is mounted in a hole in the wall. Naturally, the new ones are not the same size as the old one was so I had to do some work on the hole to get it all put in.

Today was the last day of VBS so we had a program and hot dogs for lunch there.

Its customer appreciation day at the bank where my wife works so we stopped there and got appreciated (a soda and bag of popcorn). Mrs Web was serving her duty in the drive thru washing windows so the boy and I helped her for a while out there.

And, I'm finally able to check in here.
