Thanks WFTR! As you could tell, my resume is less than complete, but I'm not really using it at the moment anyway. So, please don't look at it! Instead, look here:
I went to Indiana University South Bend and Ivy Tech South Bend simultaneously. Of course, my major was visual communications.
Hey Ray, did they have color TV back when you majored in it in school? he, he, just kidding!
As for me, if you read the weatherbug thread you already know that I'm a meteorologist by training. B.S. in Met from Millersville U., Millersville PA in 1993, M.S. in Met from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL in 1996. However, now I am a software tester/QA specialist who maintains an active hobby in weather.
Same here. I do a little bit of design in my job, but my current job is more customer service and marketing oriented. Business has really been booming lately though, and they're talking about hiring a new person to take over the customer service part of it, so I would be doing more marketing and design. Which would totally rock! But I mostly do freelance stuff on the side.
St. Mary's College in Southern Maryland 89-92 with a major in psychology. Although I took lots of art courses to fill in the monotony... I had one art teacher who must've spent too much time with the turpentine. Every class he'd ask me what I was majoring in, usually guessing biology, and then try to get me to switch. He didn't make a good poster child for the subject...
The University of Myself must have been a pretty cool place to go Sparky! A wise person once told me that the college degree abbreviations actually mean this: B.S. - Bull-s**t, M.S. - More S**t, PhD - Piled Higher and Deeper.
I got to call Hawaii my home. I went to study and surf, surf, surf. It was more difficult than you think. There were a lot of tranfer students from Korea, Japan etc, and all they did was study. I had to work harder than I thought. I went back to the UCSsystem over the last couple of years and got my MBA, graduated January of this year.
Confuzzed!!! I have driven past your college (or at least through Kutztown) on my way to the Allentown to go to the VF outlets!!!!! My friends have a timeshare in Shawnee and we go up 2 times a year for the last 10 years or so... for the longest time I thought it was Klutztown though!!! I finally got it right though LOL.
For my papers...
Southern CT State University and Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh.
Corporate Communications with concentrations in Marketing and Computer Science.
You are not as far off as you might think. All the equipment in the studio was black and white. Color came a couple years later. Of course it's all cutting edge now. I worked at WTHI in Terre Haute for a couple of years. When I started they had just switched from film cameras to video tape. I'm feeling old now, better take my Metamucil and prepare for my afternoon nap. Now where's that cup I put my dentures in?
Sparky - I am not so much in the public accounting field, so tax season isn't too much of a season for me. I work for a company handling all the tax issues here. But I do have some small client jobs on the side. I recently moved so the tax season was not too bad at all with just a few personal returns to do. I need to establish a new base around the house and rebuild the clientele. A few extra dollars never hurt anyone. How else could I replenish the drinking money?

Music Junkie - I am so excited that some actually knows where Kutztown is located. It is just a state school in such a small place. If you blink while driving through Kutztown you may miss it. I just tell anyone that isn't familiar with the area that it is between Reading and Allentown, since it is just about in the middle of the two. They usually can relate to that.

I spent '85-'86 at a Tech School in North Platte Nebraska studying building construction under a full-ride scholarship. From there I moved to Omaha to take a civilian construction job working at Offutt Air Force Base. That job got pulled out from under me after I got there. I moved back to Lincloln, got married, and worked in a custom cabinet shop for eight years. We moved "back home" to central NE 11 years ago where I've been self employed doing custom furniture and antique restoration since. In the last five years, I've also been doing web hosting where I maintain two web servers hosting about 250 domains. That's pretty much it for my college/work experience.
Rock on Community College!

you werent kidding you are a midwestern girl....GO Warriors, I mean go Golden Eagles, I mean go Marquette Gold. Did you hear they are changing the team nickname to Gold? What do ya think?
My stats:
Carroll College, Waukesha,WI
major:Sociolgy and Political Science minor:Business
That's pretty much a requirement to live in this state. I am a "fan" but not really a "fanatic" like many are. If we lose a game, I can usually still sleep that night and get up the next day without adverse side effects.
Hopefully after this transition time of a new coach and adjusting to his "West Coast Offense" we can get back to winning seasons again.
