I didn't see a morning thread, so here it is. Morning all.
I don't know about anyone else, but this morning I was soooooo comfy in my bed and sleepy. I just wanted to stay there for maybe another two hours. Then I would have been good to go attacking projects throughout the house. Unfortunately, I got up and came to work instead.
Such a pretty full moon last night too.

The full moon last night was beautiful! Yes, I'm denying the Tuesday too. Presently forcing myself to get ready to leave for the office. I know I need to. If I stay here, I will end up watching the MJ memorial service on TV. They are threatening to have Germaine perform.

Good morning I did absolutely nothing on my extra day of yesterday -- I loved it! Now it's back to my sad little reality I have to do payroll this week -- anyone want extra?
Smiles Everyone! Smiles!

Very good... We'll call it DS's Stimulus Package...
Wasn't there a movie with Richard Pryor where he was a payroll clerk and he found a way to filter to his paycheck the fraction of a cent per hour that employees weren't getting paid for... (?)

I have been off the soda for many, many months. Then last week I broke down & had one. Now I can't stop. I'm a Diet Dr. Pepper junkie. I have 2 on my desk right now & they'll probably be gone before lunch.
It sucks, but unfortunately, it is all you have. Maybe a nice man will magically appear within the next five minutes and hand you a wonderful cup of coffee.

Last night I took my iPod dock in and listened to FFR while I worked. At one point I requested a couple songs (around 3 AM) and was momentarily confused when the station played two songs by my selected artist. Then I realized it was Tuesday!
I'm gonna try to get a little sleep before the MJ thing, but will probably have to sleep afterword right up until it's time for work. Kind of sucks, but I really don't wanna miss this.
So I'm driving to work a little bit ago, pondering the level of creepiness involved in the idea that the Jackson family apparently already had a private service for Michael at Forrest Lawn, but instead of having his body interred, they are carting him across town to Staples Center so he can 'be there' for the public memorial service... when I take the exit of the interstate and turn on to Metcalf Ave. to head toward my office and my attention is grabbed by a large, cheery looking display at D.W. Newcomers Memorial Gardens. A couple metal sculptures (one red, one yellow) that look like something out of Dr. Seuss... between which are the something like 5 foot tall, friendly red letters reading "be the change". Right there between the funeral home and the gently rolling hills of the cemetery. Now, pardon me... but by time you hit D.W. Newcomers, isn't it a bit late for all that?
If I could have gotten my camera ready that quick without wrecking my truck, I would have taken a picture. Gonna try to get Pambo to go drive over there with me at lunch so I can get one.

Dang it . . . my wife's coworker who got sick and ended up in the hospital is not doing well. All we know is that its her lungs, she is in serious condition, and she is "minute by minute".
To recap . . . She's about 54 years old. Last Monday she didn't come to work. Wednesday, she was admitted to the local hospital for pneumonia. Saturday, they flew her to Lincoln. Today, she's clinging to life.
