Good mornin' all. Afternoon actually. But mornin' for me since I slept until 1. WOO HOO!!!
I set up a mini version of the studio last night. The mics still don't work right, but they'll do until I can get either a different microphone or I can try a different soundcard.
Like I said yesterday, I'll start a thread soon updating everyone on the planned end of FFR. While the station will be ending as we know it, I'm planning to keep it running as a hobby for at least a few months afterwords. The plan for that change is being formulated right now.
Other than that, today is a lazy day. Gonna watch the Brewer game, then head to the casino to enjoy the buffet. After that I'll probably go visit my dog. Tonight will actually be the first night of my vacation. I'm hoping to get home early enough to tune in for JD's show.

I've been in and out of the forum today... sort of looking for a person to start the thread thing. Checking quite a bit off the "to do" list. Dinner with my son this eve. I should be out on the forum for a couple minutes during the live show tonight.

Hi all! Spent the day at the state fair today with my swettie - it was fun! Here's the 30 second recap:
Animals I saw: poultry, bunnies, cows, goats, sheep, horses (love the Clydesdales) What I ate: lamb sammich, cream puff, fudge, fried green tomatoes What I drank: Spotted Cow, Wisconsin wine, Rehorst ****tail and of course Herb Kohl's fine flavored milk! What I bought: actually, my bf got me an EZbun...and it's easy enough to do so I'm diggin' it

First I find a note on my door that they'll be here to do minor apartment repairs. It's all small crap they should have done before I moved in. In fact, the reality is out of about 12 items only one is actually noticeable and important. The rest are crazy small items I couldn't care less about.
I guess I'm glad that they care so much to do things right, but they gave themselves a TWO DAY window for when they'll be here! Sometime between 9 - 5 Monday OR Tuesday! They would just let themselves in, but I'd rather be here so I might be stuck in the house for two days.
Second, the Brewers blew a late lead (again) and then Eucker ticked me off with his annoying "not a home run call". Two out, Fielder the tying run at the plate, two strike pitch, here's Eucker: "Heeeeeey! Fielder to right and deep! Get up, get up, get outta heeeeeeeeeeere.... caaaaaught at the wall by Pence. Game over". AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! He does that at least ten times a season. Usually it's "Get up, get outta here, FOUL!"
Third, I lost a crap load of money at the casino. I can't be doing that anymore. I don't have as much throwaway cash as I used too. Time to cut back to one trip every three or four months.
Fourth, I went to see my dog. The first time in a week. She barely cared. Oh sure, she came over to me and wanted me to hold her, but she wanted to get right back to playing with the toys and the other dogs. She's already moved on. BASTAGE!
