Jennycat mentioning the Northwestern Trio got me thinking about the original trio, SOMECHICK and friends from right here in Milwaukee.
And THAT got me thinking that I haven't noticed hardly any posts from SOMECHICK lately, and she used to be one of our most prolific posters.
Now, it's possible that I'm just not noticing her posts buried under the avalanche of STAR posts, but I doubt it.
What gives SOMECHICK? Are you cheating on us with another forum? Have you <gasp> returned to broadcast radio? Or worse yet <double gasp> another internet station?
Mo would really be mixing it up with Star right now . I also enjoyed ScottinTX, he had a good sense of humor and would have added something to the forum.
I think Somechick is just a victim of spring, spending more time away from the computer. She logged on yesterday, but it just seems like it's been a long time since i remember seeing a big posting day from her.
I don't know I got the impression she was a real busy person. Maybe it's finals time, but that should be over, right. I don't know. But if she doesn't show up. She's not going to be an angel for much longer.
Burried under Star posts, ha! I'm gonna hit 500 by Friday. And I want to be chairwoman of the board - so fix that, Riggs.
That Mo should come back. There's only so much of Wef Tur I can take.
WOW!! A topic about me??? I'm touched. Yes, it has been a long time since I really posted. Part of it is the Spring taking me out more. But more than that, it's been my job. This week is the end of our Fiscal year, which has taken me to start year end reports. On top of that, we're trying to get a data system working correctly, which, after a month, it still isn't. And on top of all that, for some of you that may know, I work for a movie theatre company, and a little movie called Star Wars has pretty much eaten up all free time to post on the forum.
Riggs- I totally forgot to tell you. The Milwaukee Trio has been a duet for the past few weeks. One of the 3 has moved on to a different company. We have a new person starting any day now, but we have been out of sorts.
Next week I'm on vacation, and I promise to post more. I should make this work/job thing go to the wayside.
There's so much to talk about, like how Milwaukee is a great place to visit in the summer, and how our Milwaukee Brewers are actually playing some good baseball...the topics are endless.
