Riggs- these are just the jazz 101 flyers, but they do have the web address on them. If you got/design, want me to design a more general one let me know. The next run of these could be double-sided, or we could run a separate set.

Very true Dylan, every plus has a minus!!!

As for the football, I haven't seen much of the matches over there, but I caught a bit of the game the game yesterday against Colombia, we were alwaya gonna beat you guys though, lets face it soccer isnt exactly you strong int is it!!!

While we are on the subject, do you think it will ever really become a popular sport in the US?

I played American football, 20 years ago.  Nowadays it seems quite a lot of kids play soccer.  So I guess the seeds are being planted.  The one thing necessary for a sport to go "big" time in America is TV coverage.  Once that comes to fruition, A major soccer league will follow.

Oh sure Dylan bring up the Monday thing.  I wasn't going to mention it, Ultimo coming out of a bad mood and all.


Ultimo -


Soccer is getting more popular...slowly.  I think with all the kids playing today you'll see more fans as they get older.  Since my daughter has been playing (about 8 years) I've learned to enjoy it more.  I think a lot of it is understanding the rules.  Offsides is simple but my wife still doesn't get it.  I have explained it several times but she just doesn't get it.  Our soccer club has a big tournament next weekend about 150 teams in several age brackets.  Our girls made it to the final last year and lost hopefully they can get over the hump this time.

Ray we invented the game and most women in the uk still don't know what offside means, so I wouldn't worry about that one too much, but don't get me wrong football has a strong female following in the uk.

Hey guys. Soccer has been a growing sport for years, but it will not replace the four large sports: American football, baseball, hockey and basketball. I grew up playing and spent about 13 years playing and I coached for five years. I haven't coached in two years as I changed jobs two years ago which put me further from the kids (I have none of my own) and I moved late this past fall. I am hoping to be able to get back into it this fall. I miss playing so much. As for the game the other day, Ultimo is correct. In most cases the US will not be able to keep up with England or too many of the other powerhouses (Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Columbia). And I believe it was Ray that mentioned the tv time. He is correct as well. The coverage of soccer is not all that great. It really comes down to if there isn't too much (sportswise) on the tv schedule. As with most sports though, I would much rather be playing than yelling at the tv. I was over in England for a wedding this past October and the England vs. Ireland (at least I think it was Ireland - it was quite some time ago) match was that weekend and it was huge. It was mainly the guys that stood around drinking and watching the game. It was definitely different to watch a soccer game (and an American footabll game) in another country.
