Shoot!!! I just checked this thread. I'll get the book tomorrow and start. Today I started the DaVinci Code. Read for 3 hours and got more than 1/2 way through. I'll toss that aside and read the "book o' the week" and get in the conversation.
The good news is that I probably won't have a chance to read anymore until later in the week. But, I am on chapter 12... Good book, quick read. I like it so far!
My whole family served at church both Saturday and Sunday, had one M-Day party Saturday night, hosted one on Sunday, and took a day for just my wife and I yesterday, gol' darnit!
So no book buying or reading got done. I know, I know. Call me names. (easy Star!)
Oh Wef I not jgoing to take a shot at you for spending time at church and w/ your wife! Really how mean do you think I am? Just read the book when you get a chance.
I am running to catch the bus too. I did buy it on Saturday morning, but spent the rest of the weekend playing golf or with my kids at the pool. I will start tonight.
So, at this point in the day, I guess it is safe to say that we will be holding off until tomorrow. That will give me a chance to spend some time after dinner reading outside instead of inside on the sofa. I will just fly through some more chapters. That is nicer than trying to read in bed.

A reasonable goal might be to finish reading the first 5 chapters by Friday (68 pages).
Those who havent purchased the book may still do so, and those who have had other committments can still sneak in a few reading sessions to get up to speed.
This seems like a quick but enjoyable read, and should be fun to get different perspectives on a good story.
hi guys, I bought the book this weekend, but i was really dorked out on painkillers whenever I tried to read. I haven't got that far. but I can definately get through chapter 5 by Friday.
I got it out! it has been hurting so bad all weekend. i called in sick yesterday. But I HAVE to come in to work. so i just prayed and prayed for courage and power to do a good job. and I'm here!
So far: Ray, CP, Weftur (to answer a question from another thread) Mz: these are the guys who I've found haven't read the book but mention they wanted to.
