"It must be Thursday. I could never get the hang of Thursdays." -Arthur Dent, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
So far today, our bed fell off the frame, I spilled an entire cup of coffee, and the Etch came in early. It's not all bad, I won $3 on Powerball, and I'm wearing brown pants.
Its really foggy this morning. Even out on the blacktop road, I couldn't go much over 25-30 mph for fear I wouldn't be able to stop in time once I saw something in the road.
Today is the day before the day before Sleep in Day.
MZ, hope you weren't in bed when it fell off the frame -- that would be a rude awakening!
I have a couple things that I really need to get done by the end of this week so I'll be in a couple PM's faces until they get the rest of the info I need to wrap up loose ends. Maybe I should make a trip to the doughnut store.
Smiles Everyone! Smiles!

I had to read that twice. I was just Jammin' to Lincoln Brewster in the van on the way here to the office. The song that was playing was "Today Is The Day". The chorus goes "Today is the day, the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it" (which is a quote from scripture). I had that line in my head and it really threw me off after "Today is the day" in your post.

Speaking of God, a local radio station did a thing this am where one of the DJs asked the other two random quiz questions for fictitous points and prizes. One of the questions was, 'on what day did the Lord do X (I can;t remember exactly what X was)'. One of the other DJs answered 'Tuesday'! Maybe it loses something in translation here, but it was funny at the time when I heard it!

Jacob was singing that song Saturday when he was sanding on his soon-to-be car...
Today is the day!

Is he fixing or restoring a car for himself to drive?
Yes. It was my daugters first car, which she bought used. She took it to college the first two years. She let her then loser boyfriend drive it, and he (they) beat it up some. It's been sitting parked for a couple years and we told him he could have it if he would work on it. He finally got serious over the summer. So far, he's learned to remove and replace the starter, fuel pump, and battery. It needs a paint job, but that might have to wait until the spring.
