That Tommy Shaw song has been my favorite request lately. My 2 year old was dancing and saying go mommy, go emily as she was dancing! Too cute!

I had never heard the girls with guns song until i started listening to FF....  i love it too.. keeps me happy.


I am at work this morning and planned on singing my brains out with FF, but alas, a maintainence guy is working 2 cubbies down from me.... no singing until he goes back in to the factory....

I've always liked Tommy Shaw's "Girls with guns", it's such an upbeat, fun song.

I was surprised it didn't do better when it was originally released.

I make this standing offer to you.

I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you to be a Packer fan by trying to spin the fabled history of our proud franchise.

I'm not going to just repeat the names of some of the greatest players to ever grace the game that wore our jersey.

Instead, I offer you this.

If you should ever be in the area, preferably DURING Packer season, on a Sunday, you'll have to allow my friend Dylan and I to take you on a tour of Green Bay.

NO TEAM IN PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL has more of a college team type allegiance than the Green Bay Packers.

We don't take pride that our stadium has a jail in it for the fans that get drunk and disorderly. We don't cheer on fans that boo Santa Claus. We're not excited to show you how you can be cut off and flipped off in traffic on the way to the game.

Instead we take pride in the fact that there's always someone willing to share their Brats and Beer with you.

You give us 4 hours to take you through Green Bay on a game day and you'll understand the magic that is Green Bay. A city that SHUTS ITSELF DOWN for three hours EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY, because they're beloved Packers are playing at Lambau or on the television.

Do we have a deal?

Yeah they show games late night on channel five here and on sky sports I believe, so I will try and watch as many games as I can! Mainly the Mighty Colts of course! Plus I already have my merchandise catalougue ordered via there website.

My Dad is actually a huge Colts fan, although he still puts the Packers first.

But he said growing up his favorite team was the Colts. He loved Johnny Unitas and was really mad when the Colts left Baltimore.

Hey, they're a distant second.  Plus, I'm sure Ray would join me on a tour of Indianapolis.  Awesome museums, stuff to do during the day and at night, and plenty of live music, without the smog and bustle of Chicago.  Best of both worlds, come and get it!
