Freeze-Frame Radio will be off the air today from 2 PM CT until 5 PM CT.


If we experience any further delays in getting back up on the air we will let you know via this thread.

*** UPDATE:  3:51 PM CT - May 28 ***


It looks like the 5 PM goal was overly ambitious. 


Transferring the 6000 songs back into the system is going to take about 5 times longer than expected.  It now appears we will not be back up and running until 8 PM CT at the earliest.


Sorry for the incovnenience everyone.  But this will solve a lot of the problems we've been experiencing the past few weeks.

I suppose I could pick up some of the stale donuts left in the WELCOME TO THE NEWBIE threads, but some of those things have been laying around for months.

The music is back, the station is up and running.


HOWEVER, the request system and now playing pages are not operational and may not be for the next 12 to 24 hours.


But atleast you got the quality pre-programmed 80's music!  WOO HOO!

When you say "cutting in and out" do you mean the music level was cutting in and out?  Or do you mean you were getting dropped a lot?

We'd get dropped a lot, and then the office mates would scream "What the H?" and then I'd have to calm them down and say "hey..it's not the DJs, it's the lame connection". I've got your back.

*** FINAL UPDATE - 1:02 AM - May 29 ***


All right!


The broadcast computer is fully reformatted and now running behind a firewall and an anti-virus program.


NOTHING but the station runs on this computer, so hopefully we will no longer experience the glitches we have over the past few weeks.


We DID LOSE almost 200 songs in the process of fixing the system, but I was able to write most of them down and will start reloading them into the system later today.


Freeze-Framers.  WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS!
