I started listening to FFR a year ago. I sit at a desk eight hours a day. I'm isolated from everyone and satisfy my need for conversation by reading everyone else's conversations. I just joined a couple of weeks ago and am having a blast. I am finding it difficult to balance this and work still, but I'm sure it'll come.
I love the music on the station. Some days it feels like my subconscious is out there choosing exactly what I'm wanting to hear. Most can probably tell I love all genres of music, but my love is 80's, heavy metal, and now as I'm MATURING, country. It doesn't hurt living here in Nashville area.
I work in the financial services industry primarily in an administrative capacity. But... today I'm giving my first presentation for some new business of my own. I'm very excited but a little nervous too. It's not that I'm not prepared, I've got an accounting degree and my certifications, I've even set for the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) exam. (Didn't pass and haven't worked up the nerve to sit for another two-day/10 hour test). Just green when it comes to selling myself. I'd rather be the paper pusher and do the analytical stuff.
That's about it for me. What about you other quiet guys out there. Speak up, introduce yourselves...
Yes, that is really me. That's as good as it gets - lol
That is a picture I cropped and placed on my own web server. I am happy to help anyone else that wants to do the same. Just email me a pic at webguy@freezeframeradio.com and I'll crop it and put it on my server and then give you a link of where to point your avatar settings.
golly! y'all are already on page seven! it will take me forever to catch up! i haven't been able to play the last few days because THE MAN has the whip out! but, i'm gonna take a break... i'm vee. i live a little mundane life in a little rural town outside a bigger town, outside tulsa okla with my husband, my 13 year old son, 3 year old son, our black lab and my 20 year old daughter (when she comes home from college to do laundry and load up on groceries). i'm going to be 40 (aghhhh!), in just a few weeks (march 26 -- i still love love love birthdays). i moved to okla in 1987 from santa fe new mexico (i'm of spanish ancestry NOT mexican), and never looked back -- this is home. i've worked about 15 years for a small construction company that builds and repairs furnaces for the glass industry (plastic might be cheaper, but notice how it alters the consistency and taste of food products -- yuck!). mainly i'm responsible for billing and job cost analysis, but i don't feel like anything is beneath me. yeah, sometimes i fix THE MAN'S lunch. i love God and my country, but i have a problem with organized religion (although i was brought up catholic), and government. i have mixed emotions about what we are doing in the middle east, but i strongly support our military men and women who are there (even if you don't support the war, support our troops). i thank God that i was born in a country that allows me to speak my mind and listen to rock & roll! i'm not very good at staying in touch, so i may just breeze in and out every so often.

I am Mrs Sparky. Need I say more! Yes I have a beautiful daughter named Little A as you all know her. I work opposite shifts as Sparky so we don't get to spend alot of time together. I miss being able to spend everynight and some days with him, but we can't stand the thought of this little girl going to daycare. I thought this was a harmless way of a little communication when we are apart. I am sorry to mislead you all in any way, I know realize you are all his friends and I should not have lied to you! I am sorry! -- Edited by allycat at 10:26, 2006-05-12
Hello, I'm Brent and have been with FFR for sometime now. I even won the very first Bingo contest with FFR and I took a "leaves of absence". I was born in Washington State but have lived in Utah since 78'. I am married to a wonderful wife (this year it will be 20 yrs), we have (4) kids ranging from 17 - 5 yrs. I'm proud to say I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints (LDS) or Mormon. "No I do NOT have many wifes" I work for a Wood working comapny as a Project Engineer (CAD draftsman) and I really enjoy it. Well there you go. I enjoy FFR and 80 style of music.
