Hump Day

Good day all.

So now that it's fall, we're getting the warmest and most humid days of the month.  Go figure.

Morning all. Is it really only Wednesday? I don't know about this week. I seem to be all mixed up.

Morning. Mr. DS didn't get home until 3 am. They had truck trouble on the way. He started getting chest pain again. He won't go to the ER because he says they'll just run the same tests, load him up with nitro, tell him to call his heart doctor and send him home. I'm waiting on his doctor's nurse to call me back. My heart is heavy...

On the other hand, my kids issues are taken care of... for the moment.

Did you kill them, or just tie them up and cover their mouths with duct tape?

Howdy.

I hope Mr DS is ok. Heart stuff is pretty scary to mess around with.

We were all home yesterday. The boy woke up about 12:30am and vomited a couple times. He was up and down several times throughout the night so none of us got much sleep. Plus Mrs Web and I both had our own digestive issues going on. We are all back on task and feeling better again today.

We have a big weekend coming up. We are having another garage sale along with the "Junk Jaunt" weekend. "Junk Jaunt" is about a 250 mile journey through Nebraska in a big loop of planned sales. It has gotten quite popular. Most people move this more toward the antiques kind of things rather than your usual kid's clothes "garage sale" kinds of stuff.

Our sale is Friday and Saturday here at my shop. Its mostly old stuff left over from my mom-in-law's estate that no one in the family wanted. We've been busy working on getting that all set up and ready to go. One good thing is that by Saturday evening, it will happen and be over if we're ready or not.

I'm leaving... Taking Mr. DS to the ER. His doctor isn't in today and he won't go unless I hogtie him and take him there. So be it...

Mr. DS: "I'm feeling all right now."

Me: "Yeah, cos you've been popping nirto all morning."

It has been a busy day! Logged into work for a while. Met my brother-in-law's parents. Worked some more. Went to the furniture store with Laura and her MIL to pick up a new bed that I get to sleep in tonight. (Laura called the old bed in the guest room "the reverse camel" because it had a dip in the middle of it from my nephew jumping on it.) Got back here and put the bed together. Now Laura's step-daughter is apparently coming over to hang out.

Good luck to Mr & Mrs DS. I hope that works out well. Very scary.
