Hi all! Today was the last nice day we're supposed to have for a while. It started raining here about 30 minutes ago and they're calling for rain most of the week with highs in the high 50s, lows in the 30s, oh and lots of high wind tonight and tomorrow.
After I got my chores done today, I spent the rest of the day playing all of our Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. Sometimes it's nice to waste an afternoon playing video games.
Hey JD, did you send out doggie bags to all of us?? Sounds like you had lots of yummy food all weekend!

Yeah, I went back to work on Wednesday night. The first night wasn't so bad, the second night was very painful. I think this week being a full five days will be very difficult.
The ankle is better just moving around the house, it doesn't hurt much at all. But if I stay on it for more than 15 or 20 minutes it starts to hurt and gets progressively worse.
I was wearing a boot at work but that wound up really hurting my OTHER leg. I think because the boot is a good 2 or 3 inches higher so every step was jarring to the good leg. I'm fallin' apart I tell ya.
We're getting the weather you were talking about right now. Windy, heavy rains. Supposed to cool off dramatically tonight and struggle to be in the low 60s all week. This is some of my favorite weather though.
Sorry to hear your ankle is still bothering you. It's hell to get old, huh?
Work....blah, I still hate it, nothing's changed over the summer, but I gotta do what I gotta do. Either that, or I'll drive myself nuts. Or nuttier than I already am.
Glad you enjoy Fall. I'm a summer gal, but early fall is nice too. Not looking forward to the white stuff that follows it though.
Spring, Fall, Summer, Winter. That's the order I like em'. Although this year Winter may move into third place since I won't have to shovel or park in the white stuff.
You got the right attitude with the job. Nuthin' you can do about it for now so no reason to obsess over it right? You'll be retired before ya know it!
Wish I didn't have to shovel. You're very lucky!!! Are you all settled into your new apartment now? Everything's unpacked and put away? Moving is a bugger, but at the same time, it's kinda fun too when you get a new place to live.
Oh yeah, I was unpacked and had everything put away after the first week. It's finally starting to feel like home. With having moved back from NC with essentially nothing other than my TV the entire apartment was basically new, which made it harder to feel very much at home.
We had a couple T-Bones off the grill tonight. Oh boy, they were gooooooooooood.
After that, we went back to the shop and packed up the boy's clothes that didn't sell for one more time. We will try one more garage sale for them next summer, then they will probably go to Goodwill or something.
As far as mom-in-law's stuff, we started with eight tables packed full, and now we only have two tables left. Total with ours and her stuff, we did over $700 in sales this weekend. We saw people from Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota that were all here just for this "Junk Jaunt" thing. We're pretty happy with how much we moved.
No school tomorrow, so I'll be home hangin' with the boy.
Sounds like you did well at your garage sale Web. Wow, I didn't know people came from that far to hit up all the garage sales! Must have been pretty cool to meet people from all those states.
