I knew if anyone would know it would be you.  That is exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you.  It was interesting to me then and it was interesting now.  I agree with the minimum standard  you mentioned.  The initial logic for certain standards may change but lowering standards just to broaden appeal never works.  When you dilute the soup, eventually no one wants to eat it.  I am not sure if everybody knows what an important part of disaster recovery ham operators serve, but I for one tip my hat to you Dovetails. 


Maybe JR can credit you with 20 posts.  But if its any consolation to you, I look forward to your posts because they are truly substantive.

There is this little lady in a Renault Alliance (LOL last model year maybe 1986?) that I see about 2 times a year here in town. Her licence plate is JOOKY B. I've wanted to ask her for at least a decade what the h#ll does that mean!? All sorts of passengers in my car over the years have seen me spaz out and go "JOOKY B THATS JOOKY B!!!" whenever I've seen her. She usually has a hat on and has to look between her steering wheel and the dashboard to see the street!

I forgot to post this! But over Memorial Weekend I saw a license plate that made me think of the forum! It said : FUZZED ! I wonder if Fuzzy was in my neck of the woods!
