Today I switched over to the other computer and I wanted to point out a few things.

1)  At first the playlist will be VERY small.  DO NOT PANIC!  I will be increasing it a great deal in a very short time.  By the end of the week we should be over 5,000 songs.  By the end of the month we should be between 8,000 and 10,000 songs.  Currently we only have about 1500 hits listed.

The reason for the small start up number is that I need time to organize the images for the music, which leads to number two...


2)  Album art work will be missing for most of the music for awhile.  Eventually it will all be replaced.


3)  I'm working on a plan to offer some fairly cool additional options to people who continue to help offset the streaming costs by donating to the station as a thank you.  Kind of a "VIP" program with some actual benefits that I think you'll really like.  (I KNOW LS will enjoy it).


4)  The initial build for the station will be as stated previously, a top 40/adult contemporary playlist.  However I DO intend to be on air on a more regular basis now and will take email requests for ANY music that's in our catalog.

lol. I'm sure seeing 1800 songs had to be a LITTLE bit of a shocker.

But I was just having too much trouble cutting it down. I decided it was better to work the other way. Go back to basics and start adding again.

 Not really.  The lack of any kind of advertising is keeping us from bringing in anyone new.

Hopefully with time I'll figure out a way to advertise the station that won't break my piggy bank wide open.
