Pictures of FFR Headquarters

Hey Riggs, I was thinking it might be kinda cool to see pictures of our FFR Temple and all it's glory. (wires and all) Can this be arranged?

I thought so... I have this mental picture of Riggs sitting in the attic with a tupperware bowl on his head covered in tinfoil and a Mr. Microphone hooked into his boombox with the coat hanger sticking out for an antenna.

It would be nice to put a face with the voices of the boys. Here I pictured him usually a metal strainer on his head. You need to save the aluminum foil for the antenna. I say for his next birthday we chip in and get him a new roll of duct tape.

Mr. Micraphone and strainers!

Too good!  I can also see one of those hand crank motors lying somewhere near the mainframe.

The other image I had was of Riggs and Jd sitting in the basement saying party on Riggs, party on JD...and then Riggs wife yells down the stairs and tells them they better not be playing that radio station game again.

There is actually a picture of me on the Jazz 101 page. Click the
Programs icon, click Jazz 101, and then click the camera photo where it says "click here".

JD forwarded some photo's of the studio to me, I'll try to get them up this weekend.

They're a bit old, we've changed the design of the studio area a bit since then, but they are pretty much the same.

I'll try to get updated photo's soon.

Somehow JD I pictured you white or black, not yellow. I also imagined you a little thinner!

JD Supplied me with this photo of the studio area.

It's actually THE OLD SETUP, the new setup isn't nearly as clean.

We added a hanging mic stand so the microphone is able to be swung out of the way when we're not talking and made a few other improvements.

At some point I'll get a picture of the current setup, but this is basically what it still looks like.

That must have when the station was down for maintenance, no tin foil or duct tape to be seen anywhere?

Yeah, eventually I'll get you a photo from BEHIND those desks!

That's where the 2000 miles of wires, duct tape and foil are located.

For some reason I pictured more movie posters on the wall, & sci-fi knick-knacks cluttering up the desk...plus a Loaf-Shrine in the corner....gotta have the Loaf Shrine...

Well, BEHIND the scene you see there is a nice, professionally framed movie poster from the Blues Brothers, and a couple of nice professionally framed John Belushi photos in his Samarai outfit. And a Shania Twain poster.

But yeah, no Loaf stuff. Hmm. I ALMOST bought a gold album of his off ebay, but dropped off when bidding hit $300

Wow---I wish that is what my office looked like.  I am so much more unorganized.  I have papers everwhere piled up on three computers.  I run so many reports that I jump from one computer to the next.  There are also diet Pepsi cans everywhere.  I start drinking from one then move to the next computer.  I have six open cans right now.  I am impressed.

CP-
That's nasty!  What if you accidentally go and drink an old flat warm one?

Yuck!!

I don't know about this photo. It is not at all what I had pictured. This actually looks like it could be someone's cube at work. I think the boys are just messing with us.

nope- rest assured that that is the studio. You can see a mic in there off to the side if you really tried. The set up has changed a bit tho- the console is set up so that the windows are to the left of us, and we have a bigger overhead mic stand that sways out of the way when we aren't talking.

I do drink the flat warm ones from time to time.  You get used to it.  I am addicted to the stuff.  I don't drink coffee but this new lime diet pepsi is pretty good.

I feel for you CP.  I have the dirty dishes problem.  I'll be too busy to eat at the kitchen table, so I'll bring my lunch/breakfast/supper to my desk, and then be too busy to wash my dishes, or they become such a permanent fixture that I forget to take them to the kitchen.  This applies to my home and work office.  Right now at work I have my empty coffee cup fromt his morning, a dirty oatmeal bowl, an empty water cup, an open juicebox that I'm currently drinking, an unopened juice box so I don't have to get up later, and the mac and cheese that I brought from home that I'm currently eating.  Add to that your typical desk stuff, like printer and monitor and kleenex and bamboo and candle and an in/out box, and a desk blotter, and my portfolio I carry and an always open notebook and a stack of files.  And at the moment, I can actually see a square of desk!

I am with MzHartz. There are papers and binders currently everywhere on my desk. Then there is the soup bowl, because I just finished lunch, the water glass, some juice, the calculator is out of tape, the apple has been around for awhile and the candy jar is empty, which means no one will come visit since I haven't refilled it. Although, my mess is minor compared to what it usually looks like. There is always the rest of the week.

Yeah, at this point the juice boxes are in the trash and the bowl from the mac n cheese is stacked in the oatmeal bowl.  They'll take longer to wash now since I let them sit!!!
