Oh, I know very well that it is Columbus Day. Mrs Web works for one of the very few banks that does not close for Columbus Day. I've heard many times over the last couple days how much it sucks that they don't close like every other bank. It really doesn't make a lot of sense. The Federal Reserve is closed, so they can't do anything that involves the Fed like wire transfers, etc. They can still do all internal/local stuff, though.
The official total for our snow was 7". It looks like we're actually pretty lucky as 90 miles to the West of us got 13" and 30 miles to the East got 11. The roads melted off pretty quickly, but we still have a few inches on the grassy areas.
OK, so I was going to complain about how it seems like we've skipped October and gone straight into November, what with temps in the low 50's and rain.... but 9" of snow?!!? Sorry, Web...
Since we're talking snow and winter(like) weather... only 10 weekends until Christmas...
Smiles Everyone! Smiles!

Morning people. I was aware at the fact that it is Columbus Day. But I was so surprised at the light traffic this morning. Seriously? That many people get off today? I wonder if it is more of a combination of people off and others needed someone to watch the kids.
Snow? Glad it isn't me.

At work, one of us has to drive to the post office every day, because we have a PO Box. It sucks when we forget and waste a trip.
