Nope, Dylan. This was Carpenter's very first film. A very quirky outer space comedy called "Dark Star", and, no, I was not making a Star jab!

One of the crew members is shooting a tranquilizer dart at a beach ball alien, which promptly deflates. Like I said, quirky.
