SONGS THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING

A few notes regarding songs people are requesting I add to this station.

FIRST.

Several more were added tonight (June 6) and you can find them by searching for the @ symbol. However, if it was a song that was already on the playlist and just lost due to our system problems, it will not show up in that search, it's just back where it should be.

SECOND.

Please keep in mind the "sound" of the station. Granted, we're all over the place, with country, pop, rock, etc. However, there are limits. We've had requests for rap artists like Whoudini and The Beastie Boys. Unless the specific song your requested is VERY mainstream pop/rock sounding, it will not be added. More than likely it won't be added regardless because it's not a disc we're going to have in our library.

THIRD.

Mention was made that we could start dumping some obscure songs. If you'll take a look at the remaining "SONGS TO ADD TO THE ROTATION" thread, a GREAT many of them are obscure songs. A song is only obscure to someone who doesn't know and love it.

We have received hundreds of emails over the past several years, and with the exception of the Wierd Al stuff and a few Greatest Hits sets that were just loaded up in their entirety, everything is either a Hot 100 hit or a specifically requested song.

I'd rather have you have to sift through a few extra songs than have someone not find the song they love.

FOURTH.

If you notice your post has been removed from the "SONGS TO ADD TO THE ROTATION" thread but your song has not been added, that DOES NOT necessarily mean it has been rejected. In most cases the song or artist is on order and will be added when it arrives.

FIFTH.

There is no fith, I just like the number five.
