Anyone brought the new Coldplay album yet? i got it today, gave it a quick spin this morning, it sounds great so far, might be there best album yet but I will hold out on that decsion untill i listen to it properly on my ipod, but anyone else heard it yet?
I heard snippets on NPR - their critic said some interesting things about it - that the band wasn't anything spectacular, just happened to be at the right place at the right time with Yellow. He liked the album, but that it was like chocolate for dessert - nothing extravagant, but it IS chocolate.
You see im not sure on that, as I said I think this could be the best album but I still think the first album is better than the second, but that might just be me!
The radio station I play when I can't listen to FFR is almost like the permanent Coldplay, U2, and Dave Matthews station. Although the first time I heard a song from their new album I thought it was good, at this point, I'm sick of hearing it!
Speaking of, we haven't heard Jane lately, have we?
You've got it Ray. You too? Have you noticed they've become a little one-tracked lately? Although I do like Phil the Listener. Sometimes I also listen to Q95 or the X, depending on my mood and how tired I am of my CDs or WTTS.
I thought TTS was at it's best in the mid to late 90's. They're becoming like all the others. That's why I started looking around for an alternative source. FFR fits the bill nicely!! However, when I'm in the car it's more WKLU, Jack and TTS.
