MZ IS Molly

Allright,

Avatars have a staying power.  I bought the Breakfast Club on DVD and I'm watching it right now.

EVERY SINGLE TIME Molly Ringwald is on the screen I think of MZ.

Perhaps we made a mistake making the Freeze-Frame mascot a penguin.  Perhaps it should be a cloud or something else that people will see all the time.

What can I say, I'm a graphic designer, I know what will stick in people's heads.  (OK, really I was just looking for an avatar with an 80's theme and thought, "Well, some people say I look like Molly Ringwald."  But hey, it works right?)

Plus, every time I see a penguin with a mullet, I think of FFR!

Hey, I visited the St. Louis Zoo a few weeks ago and was LOOKING for a penguin with a mullet.  What a disappointment.  No mulleted penguins and the zookeepers really frowned at me when I tried to give them beer.

God bless you for trying though Trish.

There's nothing sadder than a sober penguin.

If we all banned together, I beleive we could completely abolish penguin sobriety in our lifetimes.

They were looking pretty sober.  Oh, they tried to walk funny and make us think they were drunk, but I saw right through it.  I credit FFR with being able to tell the drunk ones from the sober ones.  I tried to apply to be a zookeeper for the penguins, but after the whole beer snafu, they wouldn't even let me in the door to HR.  I smell a conspiracy and it smells worse than the penguin house.

Isn't it UNBELEIVABLE that in this day and age, the year 2005 for goodness sake, there's still this bias against letting Penguins enjoy their God given right to get blotto'd?

They don't make it easy on themselves though, insisting on drinking Billy Beer, which hasn't been brewed in well over 20 years.

I'll tell you though, when they DO have the opportunity to get drunk, there's nothing more enjoyable than watching them trying to figure out that rubiks cube they love so much.

I was going to throw a Rubik's cube in there, but there was this one in there that I just knew was the kind of penguin that peeled off the stickers when he can't figure it out.  One rotten penguin ruins the whole barrel.

It took me a long time to appreciate these guys- I used to think of it as "old man" rock and roll, but about a decade ago I realized -hey, before this, there was "how much is that little doggy in the window"- so when Little Richard came along and went "WOO WOO OOOH" and turned the world on its head. Chuck Berry doing that rooster step- OUTLANDISH!!!

I love oldies!  I just bought a Cruisin'1961 CD for my dad recently and I forgot to copy it before I gave it to him.  The thing that is so awesome about those is that it is an actual broadcast from back then.  I heard a McDonald's commercial from 1958 the other day since my dad was inspired by me getting him that CD to get the whole set.

Groovy Kind Of Love.  I remember hearing it when Phil Collins sang it and then I heard it when I was riding with my dad somewhere and was like "Whoa, you know this song, too?"

ya , like that. then when your friends talk about the artist you can say stuff like  " man they aint nothing but rip off artists and youre buying stolen goods " then you tell em where it came from and they never listen to it again "cuz it aint new and cool ".  kids hate when ya do that but it is fun

When you said you were a yahoo member, I recalled that you said once that you had a profile set up as molly dolly, so I ran a search. Don't worry, pretty is good! Its a complement!

Hey Sparky,

Because your avatar is part of the library I don't know if I could do anything with it, but I'll see if I can make you a bigger copy.

There ya go Sparky, you're bigger. But because I had to blow up the picture you're also a little blurrier.

Would you go to go back to the smaller, sharper Sparky?

Thanks Riggs! I feel a little blurry today anyway.

What does everyone else think? Keep it big or go back to the smaller version?
