Former Missing Persons vocalist Dale Bozzio has turned herself into a New Hampshire prison to serve time after pleading guilty to several cases of animal cruelty.
The singer, known best for (fantastic) hits such as "Walking in LA", "Destination Unknown" and "Words", was charged last year with the crime after local authorities found several sick and dead cats inside of her home. After the discovery, 12 cats had to be euthanized and Bozzio was forced to pay the hefty $2700 bill.
During her grueling trial in May, the singers lawyer claimed the crime was a case of negligence, and not of bad intentions. However, Bozzio, previously known for being an animal lover and rescuer, is now barred from keeping any pets at all. The vocalist will be serving 90 days behind bars, and is also sentenced to 250 hours of community service.
