I only understood something about someone needing their meds. They really need to use a different computerized voice. I liked it better when they read them.

I'm SO glad someone mentioned this. I heard the alert while driving downtown today and thought the same thing.

That computerized voice is just creepy. Even creepier when talking about being off-meds and having attempted suicide.

I can't imagine why they went away from the actual people recording the messages. I always enjoyed hearing the local accents of the person doing it.

I have to turn it off - it's too creepy and difficult to understand. And that's not good, because the whole point is to have as many people as possible hear it.

 Probably like how Kid Rock has "Paul" on his arm.  I think it's in tribute to his brother who died or something.

I was listening to the station last night and heard an amber alert for two missing kids and both were from a creepy computer generated voice.

I thought you guys said they went back to a human. confused.gif

Those computer voices freak me out.

I'm beginning to think maybe different states/counties have their own method of recording these things. Maybe that's why sometimes they're computers and sometimes they're southerners, etc.
