Hi Dylan!! I'm doing pretty good; tired from shoveling the wet junk out of my driveway and off the sidewalks. Snow blower didn't cut it today.....too much water in the snow and it kept plugging up. I called someone to go over to my dad's house to get him cleared out so I wouldn't have to do his too.
I feel your snow shoveling pain. Its nice that you found someone to get your dad's driveway cleared off. How is your dad doing today? Better I hope. he and your family are in my prayers.
He's still having a hard time breathing. He's on oxygen 24/7, turned up to number 4 setting (it only goes to 6) but whenever he moves, stands up, or walks he gets very dizzy. That's due to his own oxygen level in his body dropping down. The lung specialist says he will get him so he's able to breathe much better, but it's going to take some time. He's treating him with steroids and said there are many different ones to try, but each time they switch the meds he'll have to be weaned off the previous steroid, which takes time to do. We still don't know exactly what is causing all the these problems for him......it's a combination of his mechanical heart valve being too small and having to work too hard along with his lungs going bad because of the heart valve.
Thanks for your prayers, my friend. They help me keep going.
