Hate to plug another station here on FFR's forum, but if any of you are around tonight, Squonk is co-hosting a radio show with his brother tonight.  www.wmse.org.  Rich Mars is his brother; just click on the play button in the Current Program box and you're tuned in.

Squonk feels a little nervous going on, but he does just fine with JD so I'm sure he'll be great. biggrin

Gotta say, while I like Rich Mars' show I love how JD talks more often during his shows......sometimes an intro to a song, sometimes his thoughts about a song, other times where he was when he first heard a particular song.  Always nice to hear the dj's take on something he's playing. nod.gifsmile

aw thank you. I suppose its a more relaxed atmosphere here where I can collect my thoughts a bit more than down at MSE for example.smile No havin to keep an eye on the clock really....etc...

Yeah, I guess that's true.  They only have a set amount of time to get the show in whereas you can run over and it's no biggie.  That's why FFR ROCKS!!! biggrin

got to admit me eyes rolled back in my head for a second when it started out with the Underground 80s theme song. But the dedication and shout out made it all better. Sounds like some good brother bonding time for them.smile

Yeah, Squonk told me he may be co-hosting a few more with his brother.  Told him to let me know when it happens so I can be sure to tune in on those nights.


Now I'm going to close down wsme.  While I like metal, this is a bit too heavy for my taste tonight.  Sometimes the metal show is pretty good though and I'll stick around til it's over.

I'll give it another or song or two first though. smile

Well, it's over. I did mention to Rich about the Killing Joke, he said "there's nothing like it...says it all" He played some crazy stuff. That Ministry song was way too long. How'd you like Steppin Stone?

Had a good time. No Crawford.
Amazing studio. 4 CD players, 2 Turntables, 2 Tape decks, Mixing board and a computer with all of the psa stuff. Oh, and 3 mics.
