Early Saturday Morning

Good morning friends!  I woke up extremely early today; fell asleep around 9 last night, got all my sleep in, and was wide awake at 5:00.  So I made some coffee, turned on my computer, and decided to start my day by listening to the station. smile

Morning gang.

*** POLITICAL WARNING - TURN AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANNA READ POLITICS TODAY ***

I continue to be stunned that this health care bill trudges forward against what the MAJORITY have said they want.

It's interesting how Obama insists this gets done by Christmas so it doesn't bleed into the 2010 elections.

In fact ALL the timing is interesting. Let's get it passed now but not actually enact it until 2013. That way by November 2010 most voters won't be thinking about it anymore since nothings happened yet, and it won't start until after we vote for President in 2012. That way when it's the huge mess we all know it's gonna be we'll already have re-elected Obama (he hopes).

If his true concern were for the American people we wouldn't be waiting four years to start benefiting them.

*** END POLITICAL COMMENTARY ***

Ok, sorry. Had to get that off my chest.

Everybody have a GREAT day!

Good morning all. Its cloudy, 25*, and snowing here. I too have been up since early... at least for me on a Saturday... 7:30. Already been to the recycling center and the bank.

Today's agenda includes getting around to the Christmas cookies I didn't get to yesterday and a little winterization work on the windows.

today I am at work until noon.
Afterwards got some holiday runnin around to do for a bit.
After that, I got to see if I can retrain my car's idle. I put a new battery in myself last weekend without doing that, and the car has been idling poorly ever since. I hope this will fix it.
After that, we're runnin to the butcher shop to get some dinner makings.

After that I will want a nap.

Dinner time, drinks, and Christmas movies on DVD tonight. Can't wait to reach this point.....

Mornin'

Snow in K.C.? Its about the same temp here, but its bright and sunny.

The bank's Christmas party is tonight. It is a small, private party this year at Mrs Web's boss' house. It will be nice to have it be "low key".

I got my server backups moving across the country and I'm sitting here watching the boy play "Dirt2" racing on the PS3. The graphics on this thing still amaze me.
