Sunday before Christmas

Mornin' Folks.

Since this is the Sunday before Christmas, it is going to be a big day at church. We are doing a lot of good stuff today and it should be a packed house. I've gotta finish getting ready and get to music practice.

I hope you have a great day!

Got an early morning call from the BFF... we are going to the Chiefs game! Its the last home game of the season for them... playing the Browns so they might actually win. I dunno.

Morning gang!

Nice avatar Web. Reminds me of a girl I know.

I got up, exercised, showered, pulled out a Diet Coke and some cold pizza, then settled into my big comfy recliner ready to watch some Packer football. Now I find out they don't play until 3:00 PM. hmm.gif

Well ain't that a kick in the jingle bells? blankstare.gif

Home from the game. It was cold... and they lost... but we had fun!

Big cheezy grins in 3...2...

We went to the Unitarian Universalist Church Solstice celebration this a.m.

It was pretty cool. I'm not a big fan of the touchy feely stuff but, dig the energy.

I'm not sure if I'll make the shows tonight. I've got a large list of too do items. Some are not within the range of my computer.

We'll see.

Take care.

Hi all. Not much new with me tonight.  Took a few hours today to make up my "to do" lists for the rest of the week.  Dang, I didn't realize how busy I'm going to be until I saw it in black and white.

Talked to my brother today, and he asked me if dad is able to go anywhere.  He wants to take him up to his place for a few days after Christmas. clap.gif I'm glad...it will give me a break for a couple of days and give my dad a change of scenery, which he really needs. smile

Now you warn me about the head-flailing!!  Good thing I've been practicing. laughing.gif

Yeah, it will do my dad a lot of good to get out of the house, see something different, talk to someone different.  I'm glad my brother suggested it. smile.gif

When I was a teen... my stepdad would help me with the f'd up neck and head damage.
He's cool now. We shoot pool. He's got a table in the basement at the house I grew up in. Oh, also, he's a fantastic bartender.

We had a pool table at home when I was a teen.  I haven't shot pool in years.  Probably stink at it now.

Just like bowling, it's just fun. It's all about the folks you're with.

DOH! Spoke too soon... it crashed on me again. Might have it back now.

MiFi is a mobile WiFi hotspot. Basically it will support up to 5 users at once. It works pretty well most of the time.

I found an app for my phone that turns on the WiFI in the phone and turns it into a wireless router. It works good once I get my computer to connect to it. It takes a but of fiddling to get the laptop to connect to an "ad hoc" network, but once that is done, the phone is basically a "MiFi" while its enabled.

Oh yeah, and we went out for our annual light tour. There sure didn't seem to be as many decorated up houses this year.

I think my phone can be made to do that same type of thing. Its just easier to do the MiFi and probably costs me the same.

Yeah, the MiFI would be really neat. I'd have to pay for the extra data account ($60) to have the MiFi thing.

It isn't cheap, but seems to be the least expensive of the options I have at my disposal.
