Ugh. I HATED that chemo room when my Dad went in there.
It was nicer than I expected (looked just like the one in the picture) but it was just a big room of 30 or so people in various stages of cancer. Some had plenty of reason for hope, but some not so much.
Your sister looks good! Great to see she's keeping her Christmas cheer about her!
She is doing pretty well. I wish I could actually be hanging out there with her. Instead I "entourage" from the distance. It works out though... she sends me her latest picture and I post it on FB for her.
She says the place isn't so bad. There are loads of people there today since they have to accomodate all their Wednesday regulars plus the Thursday and Friday people this week. She is normally a Friday person. Still can't wait until all this is done. She recalculated her treatment schedule the other day and was quite distressed that her last treatments will be in March instead of February.
Not withstanding, her sense of humor is clearly very much intact.
