We got a call last night from my dad and they want to see if we can have our Christmas get-together this afternoon. That means more presents for the boy, so he's excited.
That darned wind is still blowing snow around. It can stop any time now.
I gotta eat some breakfast, finish getting myself ready, and then head off to practice. I'm really looking forward to playing today's music. After two weeks of nothing but Christmas hymns, I'm ready to get back into playing some contemporary stuff again.
Going to the gym today. The home gym is not taking care of the consumption levels. Oh, burgers on the grill tonight. Happy Holidays! I've got company over tonight, might not make the Live shows.

We made it to NC! There is two feet of snow. We are having a blast. Little E will never want to leave, neither do I. Snow brings back such great memories!
Good day, all! Finally back from the out-laws family Christmas. Had a great time with my kids and grandkids. Mema is a bad, bad influence... got in trouble for the having the grandkids and their 2nd cousins running around playing inside the house because they were "too loud". Got the hairy eyeball for the snowball fight outside... which for the record I did not start... Marshall did. Ah well... it was worth it.

Here's the annual Mema and the pile of puppies picture. Posing front and center is my little ham, Walker. Marshall and Miah are cheezing on my right, Marley is in my lap. The other two are their second cousins Lilly Rose (purple shirt) and Bella (pink shirt).

Meh... I always get fussed at for "rough housing" with the kids. That has been the story since my boys were young. I figure somebody has to be the fun parent/grandparent... might as well be me!!
Best laugh of the day came from little 4 yr old Marshall. His dad suggested I ask about Santa visiting on Christmas Eve... so I did.
Mema: Hey, Marshall... did Santa visit your house Christmas Eve night?
Marshall: Yeah he did! And when I wokeded up on Christmas I had a WHOLE BUNCH of GOOD presents. Santa dinna leave me a lawn mower even doh I was BAD!
Mema: A lawn mower? I thought Santa leaves you coal when you are bad?
Marshall: No, Mema. Santa leaves you a lawn mower when you are bad.
Mema: Dang... you sure you were bad?
Marshall: I was bad ALL year long!
