I was reading an environmental Q-and-A-type article on CNN.com recently, and one of the questions was something like whether overweight people are good or bad for the environment. The answer was that, in general overweight people consume more resources per person than thin people, but they also tend to die sooner, so in the long run overall they use less resources and thus are better for the environment than thin people. I still can;t decide whether I find that answer to be amusing, interesting, thought-provoking, depressing, morbid, or what.
Good day, all. I'm happy to report that I'm still among the living. Caught me some kind of lovely stomach virus that kicked in Monday night and had me driving the porcelain bus all night long. Yesterday I slept most of the day.
Looks like I got some more snow last night. Good thing I feel better... need to go out and deal with that.
Hope everyone is having a good day!
