I should put this in the First World problems thread. It's supposed to be 94 here today too, so they've got the air conditioning cranked up at work and I'm freezing!!! I've got my office door closed and my window open, and it doesn't seem to be warming up in here any!

But I know how hot my dark blue car gets, so I hoping for the best in your drive today, JR!

man ray, it was that hot up here yesterday! isn't supposed to get over 82 today tho- maybe we sent our hot air in yer direction! If that's the case, hopefully you can get some of this 82 degree stuff tomorrow! Its really nice!

i would say your welcome, but your not... i am having another family picnic tomorrow and i have no idea what i am going to do with my elderlies.... maybe i can hook up the hose and they can just sit under it all day. (i only have 1 air conditioner at home and it is small and in the bedroom)

They didn't actually cover GOLDEN EARRING'S Radar Love did they?!?!?!

That's one of those songs that just seem like they're not supposed to be remade.

I think they did a good job. It spread the song in the late 80s to all the 15 years girls who did not know who Golden Earring was!

Good morning everyone.

I had a fun day Saturday. I went to a kite fly at the airport of a much bigger town about an hour from here. It was fun, they had a fully restored B-17 Bomber there that was giving rides. Well, "giving" rides is not quite accurate . . . $400 per person and they wouldn't go until they had six signed up.

It was a good time, and nice to get away from the computer for a while.

Yes, I was told that it had just gone before I got there around noon. I saw it go once mid-afternoon. I got some pretty good pictures of it as I was out right by the runway. When we quit about 5:00, they said they just needed a couple more for another ride but it would have to wait until Sunday to get more signed up. The actual flight time was only 15 minutes. It would have been really cool to go, but more that I could justify spending.

Good morning, all. Feels like I was just at work. Oh, wait, I was. We are working crazy overtime right now to get a contract out. Came in Saturday and also worked some Sunday. Not a fun weekend. I will be glad when this week is over!

I've worked the past 3 weekends, so I had a lot to do around the house this weekend. Washed all the blankets, bedding, and sheets at the laundry mat, cleaned house, went grocery shopping... I did get in some time at the pool and some quality demon-killing time (Diablo II video game). All in all, a pretty good and mostly productive weekend.
