It has been in the low 20s every morning for two weeks. It rained almost 20 days in December. Now it is the first rain of the year and it went from 27 yesterday to 47 this morning! no

I can never win. Been having a hard time sleeping. I do not want to exercise today, we'll see if I can make it off the chair before it is time to shower.

I have an important meeting this meeting with my boss and his boss to talk about my new person and some more things I want to discuss. Let the poop hit the fan. My boss has been paranoid, trying to figure out what I am going to be talking about.

The snow actually came. I'm surprised. I figured after all the hype it wouldn't. I live in a different county than I work so home got more snow than work. Our facility that is north of us is closed today but my facility is open so I get to work today. The main roads were fine though.

Good day all.

We got some more snow last night, but the roads are finally clear. But for some reason, school's still closed. I'm not sure why.

At any rate, I am so glad it's Friday.

Morning all. Payday Friday. We did have a little snow overnight. I am thinking it was under two inches. It was the light, fluffy stuff. There were no problems on my way in. The sun is out now. It popped out on my way into the office.

Good day all. The snow has ended here, but the brutal cold lingers. Right now it apparently feels like -18* outside. None for me, thanks. I really want to take the day off today, but have a field integration test scheduled for one of my projects today... postponed from yesterday. Soon as I figure out who the "boss de jour" is, I'm calling them and telling them that I'm staying home. Did my back no favors yesterday shoveling snow... its sure talking to me today.

Its supposed to be lingering here through tomorrow so I will still be 'enjoying' it with you. And oh yeah... someone failed to inform Mother Nature that this is a 'no snow' Friday... she is currently flaking on my parade AGAIN.

Yep... it's pretty darn cold -- so cold I could feel my nose hairs freezing when I went out to start my car this morning weirdface.gif  right now, we're sitting at 7 but should warm up to 12.

I'm hungry...

SOunds like we're getting lucky here too. HIgh of about 22 today. The snow has stoppedand again appears well short of the twelve inches predicted. I would say it's more like 6, maybe 7.

I ended up with a bowl of oatmeal, but only because that's what I keep at work. I only had buttermilk (yuck), so I had to doctor it up with a few squirts of concentraded hazelnut creamer -- defeated the purpose of "eating healthy" -- i should have just stopped at Sonic on the way in and picked up a SuperSonic breakfast burrito...
