Good day all.

That sounds like a perfect gift for your birthday Ruby! Good luck to Duane with finding a job. Brian's still looking for one here too. Although I must admit, I like having him home.

I have to go to a Caps for Cancer meeting today. I don't really want to, I don't feel like it's my type of thing, but I feel like I have to. I think it'll just be 3 of us, which makes me want to go even less since we need more people to make it work.

I also have my book to edit. I plan to do a few hours of editing today. I think here in a bit I'll go have brunch at this cool local restaurant and bring my computer along. Then after the meeting, I'll find a cozy spot in the library to edit for a bit.

Just another cold Saturday here. My forecast says 25 for day. That will feel down right warm after what we've been having.

Thanks Web and MZ. Web pray for us tomorrow at church please. MZ I had no idea Brian was out of work. I hate that. Duane is our breadwinner and he is too soon in his sobriety for me to want him home. He has run out of projects to do in our home too. He completely repainted the whole house and we have all new floors and crown modeling, so he would have the devil in the wings waiting. And though most of you do not struggle with drug addictions, we have all shared our food addictions and we all know how hard temptation is, especially under stress.

I'll keep you in my prayers MZ.

Ruby, glad to hear about your good news, sorry to hear about Duanes bad news. Hopefully he'll find something quickly.

I've been fighting with the heater in my apartment today. Heat is included in the rent so they have some kind of a looping water system that runs through the entire building.

I'm finding that when I can get the thing to work I better not try adjusting the heat or it's likely to stop working.

Problem is I can't figure out a good setting without screwing it up and turning it off. The dial is 1 through 5, I had it at 4 for a while but the apartment would get to almost 80 within a about 12 hours. I turned it down to 3.5 and it stopped working completely.

Ugh. Just give me a good ol' thermostat.

Hey Everybody...

It is cold here. When I got out of work this morning it was -1 with a wind chill too obscene to mention. It is about 20 degrees right now.

I hope to watch some of the football games today. Of course, the game I really want to watch is the Packers tomorrow.

I have one more night of work until a couple days off. Been a long week.
