Wow. MZ is the only one who went against the grain on that Baltimore vs. New England game and it saved her butt. Instead of being 0 - 3 she's right in the thick of it with most of the rest of us.

I think what we've learned so far is that none of us should quit our jobs to become NFL analysts. no.gif

Can't believe EVERY pick I had lost. DOH!! I really thought Green Bay was going to pull out the win. So close and yet so far.

For this coming weekend:

Dallas (painful)

Indianapolis (GO PEYTON!)

San Diego (LT rocks!)

New Orleans (They kinda deserve it.)

Dallas at Minnesota: Minnesota I'm probably going against the grain again here, but hey, it worked last time.

Baltimore at Indianapolis: Colts, duh.

New York Jets at San Diego: San Diego is one of my other favorite teams and is my hubby's team.

Arizona at New Orleans: New Orleans This is another where I don't really follow either team.

Vikings
Colts
Chargers
Saints

This is a tough call. I hate Dallas and want the Vikings to win. I have a number of friends that are also Vikings fans.

Even though the Ravens may be feeling good about themselves, I think the Colts will prevail.

The Chargers should be able to handle the rookie quarterback.

This may be another tough pick. AZ moved up and down the middle of the field yesterday. Plus, the Saints have been struggling a bit. If the Saints can get to Warner, they will prevail.

Hey, you gotta pick by something. And I'm a designer, what do you expect. At least I didn't pick by cute butts. (This time.)

That can be so hard to do though. So many cute ones, so little time.

By the way JR and Dylan, pitchers and catchers in about five weeks.

Let's go Phillies!

Well Fuzzy, we have catchers...not too sure about the pitchers.  biggrin

Well, that sounds like a team problem. You could always convert to red and white pinstripes. wink.gif

Make a deal with you...

I will switch to red and white if you switch to green and gold.  biggrin

As usual, the Pirates combed area little league teams this winter during free agency, and will be heading to spring training with an average team age of 12.  It's cheaper that way.  Headed for their 18th losing season in a row.  They are so awful that they're intriguing.

Murs, I feel your pain.  The Brewers window is closing and they may well fall back to those kind of seasons.  We only have Prince for another year.

Another guy who needs to consider switching teams. Murs since you are in the middle of the state, I think it would be okay if you were to try and root for the Phillies. I know most of the middle of the state are Pittsburgh fans in all sports though.

Actually, my wife is native central PA, and her family roots for all the Philly teams.  I root for the Eagles because they usually don;t cross paths with the Steelers, and the Bucs haven;t been relavent in years so and are no longer in the same division as the Phils, it's ok for me to root for the Phillies too.  The Flyers on the other hand, over my dead body!  :)  Fortunately, my wife's family isn;t into hockey, so we have no clashes there, which is good, because hockey is my sport!

I think it is nice to have another team to root for. That is possible for teams that don't cross. I guess I never really adopted another football or hockey team though. I will support the teams of my friends as long as they don't impact my team (JR and Dylan know that).

I just made my picks.

I wanted to go exactly opposite of Mema in the hopes that her wrongness would prove itself a second week in a row wink.gif

But in the end I just couldn't.

I am the only one so far to pick Arizona though.  I'm just banking on New Orleans continuing to be out of sync after not winning a game in a month.

Plus the picks were so similar this wee I figured I best take a risk if I want to have a shot at gaining some ground.

I thought I was taking a slight risk with NO and Minnesota.

YEah, actually that Dallas at Minnesota is a tough call.

I could see being wrong on that one and on the New Orleans game.

I have no doubt about INDY and SAN DIEGO though

Rub it in, why don't ya?!?!  laughing.gif I was told that picking opposite me was your plan. I was hoping you would pick first so I could pick EXACTLY the same.

For the record, I think the Dallas / Minnesota and Arizona / New Orleans could go either way.
