sleepy Sunday

The Wizard of Oz was awesome- 7:30 til 10:00! Word for word and some from the book. Spectacular stage and actors and singing. It was worth the price and wait.

Off to see the Pastor now, but man I am tired.

Ruby, glad you had a great time.  Live Theater is awesome!

It is a balmy 2* right now here in SE Wisconsin.

I just got home from work.  Long night.  Long week.  But yeay!  it is my week end.  Off tonight and tomorrow night.

Looking forward to watching the Packer game.  Should be one of the better games of the play offs.

M, have fun with the penguins, hot damn!

Web, hope your church bass playing went well.

Fuzzy, sorry about your Eagles.

Riggs, your Monday looms.  nana.gif

Hope everyone stays warm and stays cool.  smile.gif

Go Pack!

Thanks Dylan. They added some human crows for the first time she meets the Scarecrow, some human trees during the apple throwing scene and some human poppies that stole the show.

Church was awesome- Zach ushered! I see God working in my life and it is amazing.

Now I have to pay bills...

Have a great!

So NOT cool.  no.gif

Morning all.

Just started watching the Patriots / Ravens and so far the Ravens have been impressive.

I'm already fearing my second wrong pick of the weekend.

Good day, all. It is a football watching Sunday for me. Looks like the Patriots are going to let me down today. Brady is not looking himself today. The only people catching his passes are Ravens. no.gif Its pretty shameful. They best work some magic in the 4th.

Yesterday was a good day. I decided it was time to get out of the house for a bit. Went and picked up one of my friends and we went shopping. Later in the evening I went over to my son's house for a "going away" party.

Chris will be leaving a week from tomorrow to take a civilian contractor job in Iraq. I haven't really mentioned it on here before because I was hoping that they would not pass him on his background check and therefore he would not be going. They did... and he was approved for a one year hitch. I'm severely conflicted as to how I feel about this. While it is good money and an opportunity for him to see some of the world, this is the first time one of my kids will be in a position where I can't go to the rescue if they are in a jam. I also worry about how his kids will deal. Miah is such a daddy's girl... this will be particularly hard on her. Anyhow, we had his going away party last night because his original leave date was going to be tomorrow, but it got pushed back a week because he had some dental work that needed to be done. He got checked out on all that Friday, so its a go for the 18th.

Hope everyone has a good day. For the first time in a couple weeks it is barely in the 20's here today and its for once not snowing. w00t.gif

Good evening all.  Went grocery shopping today and finally got some low cal, fat-free stuff back in the house now that all the holidays are behind us. clap.gif  Also had to shop for my dad; I helped him with his list this time so I won't have to make multiple trips back to the store. laughing.gif

It was cold here today; wind was nasty but at least the sun was out for a change.

Mema, hope your son stays safe!

Well guys, time for me to say goodnight.  My daughter brought home "Inglourious Bastards" from the library yesterday and I want to watch it before she has to take it back tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone!

G'night.

JD, I liked the movie!  Sometimes I'm not fond of Quentin Tarantino films but this one was good.  There are subtitles throughout the film; in a few places they went a little fast for me to read the entire thing but I was able to keep up with what was going on.  I recommend watching it.  Don't think you'd be disappointed. smile
