Thanks for the prayers Ruby.  I decided to stay where I am and suck it up.  In the end it was just too many changes in my life to deal with just to make a lateral move.

If it had been a better position for more money I would have done it.   But since nothing changes on the paycheck I think the added hassles of second shift don't warrant the move.

I feel it was the right decision.  I just hope that it doesn't affect their view of me when I apply for actual promotions in the future.
