I've tried, and it doesn't work very well. It's very choppy and has to keep buffering. I looked into DSL this weekend, but it's not available in my area!!! And I live in the city, I can't believe it's not available. So, I only have one high speed choice, and it is the cable company for min. $30 a month. (I don't know if that figure is calculated based on whether or not you already have cable tv.) So, it looks like I'm sticking with dialup for now...
If we can get out numbers to increase we will definately add dial-up service. I think someone else on the forum was saying they can't listen at home because they have dial-up as well.
Why, even JD's OWN GIRLFRIEND can't tune into his show on Sunday nights because she's only got dial-up.
Last time we tried it we had a problem with it screwing up the main feed. BUT, we have updated software now that's supposed to take care of that problem. Perhaps just to be safe we'll test it some weekend soon, so you'll atleast get to tune in for a weekend
Of course, that will probably be the weekend you have an out of town wedding to attend or something like that
You're probably right Jeremy. I'll be gone for two weekends in July: the 16th, for my birthday (though that would be an awesome present!), we're probably going to a renaissance faire; and the 25th is our anniversary, so we've got stuff planned for that weekend. So, shoot for any weekend but those!
Seems that some of the girls are haveing a little trouble getting this that and the other so I'd thought I would relate a story that mite help ya. I did some work once for a nice couple (fresh doughnuts every day) who told me this. About a week after they were married they were folding laundry when the wife held up a pair of panties and ask " hon, do you think you can get into these? " to which he replied "uh-no " at which point she looked at him and SMILED !!
Hey JR, does the FFR future possibly have sattelite radio in it? That would be great for those of us with dial-up, or if we're no where near a computer. Probably a very complicated business transaction, huh?
