My first 'work from home' day! I must resist the forum.
Have a lot to do on the college catalog and it is all Word work. We have been so busy and I always get interrupted, so they agreed I could stay home. I am looking forward to this. I will go to Emily's school to have lunch too!
Well I have not spoke to him yet, but Zach did go meet his dad. I was asleep when he got home. Hopefully all went well and they can continue to connect. My goal is to have Zach move out in a few weeks. He is not working or in school and I refuse to be an enabler. I am hoping going there will motivate him, if not I finally realize that he makes his own choices and I am powerless to control him.
I go to Celebrate Recovery again tonight, it is really the best thing that has ever happened to me. It has helped me break the codependency cycle with my husband and son. The hardest thing I think I will ever do, but I know even if I end up alone, I will be happier! Right now my husband is doing pretty good though.
Finally arrived at Camp Happy. Its another exciting day in this neighborhood. Its still foggy and presently 36*. Possible thunderstorms later. For a change of pace(NOT!), tomorrow will be rainy and 53*.
The boy leaves the country this weekend. Not groovin on that. It will take a good 24 hours at least to get to the staging area to wait for that final hop into Iraq. Not sure how long he will be there before they will move him in. Let the anxiety begin.

Hi all. It's another cloudy day in my neighborhood...the sky and ground are the same dull shade of white. They say it's 28 outside but it feels colder to me. Youngest girl is home from school today, end of the first semester for her. She asked if I wanted to play some Halo with her today, right now she's deciding on which one of the games to play.
Oh, I forgot to tell you guys.....went to the doctor with my dad the other day and he got the OK to start driving again. I went over to his house yesterday and put a few oxygen tanks in his truck for him so he wouldn't have to lug those out when he goes somewhere. Today he's meeting up with a friend of his for lunch...he's all excited to finally be getting out of the house on his own.
Hey! If I stand on my tip toes I can see the weekend from here.
So you can see the week end at 5'3" but not at 5'2"?
Its closer than you think. Besides, I was standing on a chair too.
That's what heels are for.
Earlier this week, we were talking about height for some reason. Brian reaches up and touches the ceiling with his fingertips, Clint jumps up and touches the ceiling, I stand on the couch and reach as far as possible and come no where close.
Ruby, I'm jealous, seems a lot of people get to work from home a day or two a week these days.
Ghost, congrats on your Dad being able to get back behind the wheel.
This is a Friday that feels like a Thursday to me. Instead of being the first night of my weekend I have to work more overtime. Oh well, I hate it now but I'll appreciate it when the check comes I suppose.
Everyone have a great day. (if you want to, it's up to you really)
BUT, I still get to see her whenever I want and she truly is happier at my aunts house than she ever was here. She's got five people paying attention to her. My aunt absolutely adores her and does everything with her.
