"Fireproof" was good. Its obvious that it was a low budget movie, but it has a good story.
Today, we're doing a new Casting Crowns song that we've never played before as a group. I hope we're all ready, or it won't be pretty. We'll soon find out, once we get to practice. Our worship leader picked up four new songs for us to work on this week. We're only doing the one today.
After the service is a pot luck and our annual meeting . . . and then FOOTBALL!
Good morning all. It's raining here today, supposed to get to 44*. At least it's cutting some of the white crud that's on the ground. I'm not sure what's on tap for me today; I'm feeling lazy and not much like going out anywhere. Might be a good day to chill out with the Xbox, then hang with JD later tonight if he's doing shows.
Just passing through before I head out to my Mom's for dinner. We have some light rain now and it will be getting heavier later. Of course it is due to rain through the morning rush tomorrow. That'll make it so much fun.

Brian and I went on a date last night. It was nice being alone together, even if it was just for dinner and browsing through Best Buy. Clint's off playing basketball right now, so we've had the morning together too. Sometimes you don't realize how nice alone time is, even when you're doing different things, until you don't get it. But shortly, I have to give that up and go wave around a sword (tai chi sword form workshop).

Fireproof was great! Daune and I watched it a while back. Even though we do not struggle with that issue is was great to see how they worked it out and how God was in their lives. I read in today's paper there is a new film by that group coming out about teen suicide and helping people in general. Might try to take the boy to see that one.

Good day, all. First time in a couple weeks it is actually sunny here today. Presently 37*, but apparently it is supposed to snow later on tonight. I guess it will be the end of the weather reprieve.
I did get a nice surprise this morning... phone call from the boy. I was really happy to hear from him. He was on his way to the airport to get on with his journey. Guess it will be a couple days before I hear from him again. That is going to be tough. Still, it was good to talk to him.
Got a few things to do, then it is football time.

We did Casting Crowns "Glorious Day" from their new "Until the Whole World Hears" album. It went really well. It went better than Lincoln Brewster's "Majestic" that we've probably done 20 times.
oh hi just doin the shows here on FFR- we made a TON of food today to last us each meal at least through wednesday I imagine.
its funny, this southbeach diet. Its like we are making more food than ever, and eating it, but I am down 6 lbs in a weeks time. I gotta go find my belt in the closet after the shows. I almost literally have my pants on the ground.

I thought about it sandy, but I'm not sure I have well defned enough fitness goals. A bit of loss is good, but then I want to tone on up with excercise- pretty committed to that, I'd like my 4 pack abs back. I have g-gal here doin this with me, so there's a bit of commitment and motivation right there. I think by the time the next 25 comes up, I'll be in a pretty steady holding/ maintenance phase.

Last week you must have started too late again because all I had was an open player window of silence, which usually means when it turned on at 7:55 you weren't in control yet.
