Don't you hate it when you request a song and then hear a different song by the same artist? That means you have to wait two more hours to hear your song! Argh!
I wanna be a cowboy is one of the dumbest songs I have ever heard, and that is probably why I like it so much. Fond memories of tending bar and this beautiful cowgirl right accross the bar from me in her hat-----first time I heard this song was then. Being single was fun.
You will all laugh at this, but Cher's mom lives here in the desert. I keep going to the grocery store in her neighborhood in hopes that I will have a chance to speak with her and beg for a personalized picture, not just autographed. Told you, if cher gave me the slightest hint, i would be gone.
When I stood next to her and could not speak, so all she could say to me was enjoy the show. How embarassing. AND she was wearing the fish net stockings of If I could turn back time. Time to face the Mother In Law.
And someone else like Frank Sinatra. I saw him in concert--was truly one of the best. I have loved Frank for years. He is buried about 12 miles from me. I deliver his favorite flowers from time to time, carnations. I also dream of being able to buy the house he had here in the desert.
CP John Denver was me. Annies Song is one of my favs. I also requested Cher. As a big fan of hers ( who i saw 2 times in concert thanks to a friend who worked for the radio station here in Tulsa and got me tickets both times) She is an amazing performer. I bought the DVD of her in Vegas. unbeleivable.
Did you buy the dvd from the believe tour? I am searching desperately for a DVD of the Hollywood bowl concert. I took my wife and kids to FIVE cher concerts, just on her farewell tour. I had to be there that final saturday night. She pulled off fireworks at the Hollywood bowl. My kids love her music as much as I do. My seven year olds favorite is Dark Lady.
