Well my husband showed up with an attorney and his sack of crap friend and tried to railroad me into joint custody and no support. I would not agree and we each told our account of Monday night. They lied so much I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. BUT they did not know that I used my cell phone while I was in Emily's room waiting on the police to show up. The judge allowed me to play the audio on the phone. He was convicted of CDV even though he did not touch me and has to continue his drug treatment but now must attend alcohol treatment and complete a domestic training course.

So now I have the house and all possessions in it. Emily for at least one year and he can have no contact with either of us. He has to pay half my mortgage and he has to pay $212 a week in child support.

God has truly helped me through this and the truth has set me free. The sad thing was I went in only wanting him out until he completed anger management classes and family counseling and ended up with this.

I am in shock.

Also I now have two extra bedrooms if anyone wants to come live with me :)

What's the rent on those spare bedrooms?  Do you take pets?  Are these rooms furnished? 

I'm looking to save a few bucks.  nod.gif


Sounds like the cell phone came to the rescue for you Ruby.  I've had a habit the last year or so of using my camera phone to document just about everything at work.  I learned early on that my boss isn't particularly detail oriented and has a tendency to not notice things until someone points it out to her.  So I started photographing and documenting things when I tell her about them so that later on she can't come back and say she wasn't aware.

Co-worker thinks I'm nuts, but I'm big on the CYA plan.  I document EVERYTHING.

Sorry I am late replying to this, damn time zone and stuff, anyway, I am glad you are back home with Emily, I know things clearly didn't pan out like you had hoped, but hopefully now things can get back to some sort of normality.
