I'm really missing the football today  (I can't get into the Pro-Bowl).

After next week it's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG two months before baseball season gets into full swing.  hmm.gif

Least favorite time of the year, sports-wise.

After the Super Bowl, I'm going to start getting ancy for the beginning of the World Cup. But the olympics are thrown in there.

I can't get into the Olympics at all either. Wish I could. I've tried. Just can't do it.

I can't get into an event that only happens every four years.

For me it's just Baseball & Football. Luckily they cover 10 months out of the year. smile.gif

JR thinks I can learn to love the baseball.

I tried to watch a game with him last year, but after 20 minutes of watching a player lick his own face all over in close up HD, I just wasn't feelin' the love.

Maybe I should try again this year and hopefully get a "no licking" game.

Those who followed baseball around here used to be only Royals fans. When the Colorado Rockies started, I think a lot of people here went that direction.

Uh Oh Mema. Next year might be the last one you can enjoy football.

All the reports I've been reading say the NFL is headed for one nasty labor negotiation that could very well lead to no football in 2011.

Well, I'm certainly hoping it doesn't come to pass.

Next year is an uncapped year for the salaries too. That could lead the NFL down a very ugly road.

Ugh, that's one sport I don't like to watch, basketball. I guess I prefer low scoring games.

I've never liked Basketball either.

the back and forth constant scoring makes it boring to me. I also don't like the hip-hop atmosphere it adapted in the 90's and 00's

I tried the hockey today on NBC, after about 8 minutes of NUTHIN happenin, I just couldn't do it. I don't really like pro-bowl either. Really lookin forward to next weeks game....THE WHO at half-time! biggrin

Try being me... the music was ok, but the boob didn't do a dang thing for me. laughing.gif All in all, it was not a great half time show in my mind.

I think I don't like basketball because of the "squeek, squeek" noise from the shoes on the floor.

really, if its not football, or like the world series on tv, telivised sports just does not do it for me. however, i love LOVE baseball on the radio.

Ah, that time of year where not too much is going on in the sports world. I don't watch much basketball. I do watch hocky. The olympics will be coming soon, although I am sure there will only be a few things I would like to watch. Most of it will go on while we are working anyway with just some glimpses of the days highlights during the evening.

Mz - you will have to wait until June for the World Cup. I know, it seems so far away.
