I've been having some pain off and on in my hip and currently it's on and I am not very peachy at the moment. Hopefully it will get better and my mood will improve.

It really bothers me when I try to sleep. I can only fall asleep laying on that side. I tried to lay the other way but it was pointless. I did sleep though. Oh and then I had a dream that a plane landed in the (childhood) backyard during my niece's wedding. Uh thanks LOST Oh and my niece is not even seeing anyone but I guess she was on my mind because her birthday is Sat.

The boy has a 10:00am start today so I get to hang out at home for a while.
I've been thinking about upgrading this four year old laptop for a while. Last night, I was playing with Lenovo's configure thingey and put a laptop in the cart to think about. When I did that, I saw they had a coupon there for 20% off that ends today. That was enough to put me over the edge and I ordered it. The site estimated a ship date of the 23rd.
It is Wednesday. We had a couple of inches of snow over night. Traffic wasn't bad. Considering Wednesday on the way in is the heaviest morning ride, I guess the schools are opening late and that kept many people home for a while longer. Alas, there will also be no sun today. I could use a nap. And someone to rub my back.
It is hump day and perhaps most of us could use a good one.
A coworker just informed me that his 16 year old nephew had a stroke last night. Terrible. He had surgery to remove a clot from the base of his brain. He said the doctor said it doesn't look good.

Fuzzy, that's horrible news! I never thought someone that young could have a stroke, but then I guess a blood clot can happen to anyone. I hope he pulls through and recovers.
I just got home from doing some running. Times are tough in the land of cheese, so I don't get to go to the casino much anymore. In December and January I only went once and lost $12.
But they send coupons to try and win ya back, so I had $15 bucks coming today and I went to get it. The trick is though, you have to play the money. If you win anything with it you can keep it, but you can't just take the cash and go.
So anyway, I wound up winning $58 with the free voucher. Then I went to the grocery store and got groceries for a week or so and the final bill? $58 The casino paid for my groceries for the next 7 or so days! It's gonna be a good day!
On top of that, tonight is my Friday. I have a long weekend that starts at 6:01 AM tomorrow!
WOW, Fuzzy... please pass my best wishes on to the family. That is horrible. Unfortunately, a stroke can happen to anyone at any time, regardless of health condition or age. Its just very rare in young, healthy people.

I'm in a funk today too. Jacob and Mr. DS are progressively not getting along (again). I've told them that I don't want in the middle of their arguements, but the problem with me is, I can see both their shortcommings. Jacob likes to argue his point even when he knows he's in the wrong, can be very rude, and would like to get physical; Mr. DS is 99% of the time in the right, but thinks he has to raise his voice to get his point across, which just feeds Jacob's fire. Therefore, in trying to show each where they are going wrong with their arguement, I'm the one their mad at...
Oh well... My mom's saying --- "What's a mother to do?"
