Just woke up to see the bad news from Darlene and now the weatherman says we could get up to SIXTEEN inches of snow. It was only supposed to be up to TEN inches when I went to bed.
Oh well, I do live in Wisconsin so I guess we gotta expect this. At least it's not 30" like some of our friends got.
Everybody have a great afternoon. I gotta run out for a bit.
These folk are working my nerves today!! I was on a conference call before I knew I was temporarily fired. Spent the next few hours wandering around here waiting to be unfired. NOW they want me to be in a spontaneous meeting at 4 to talk about how we need to not have a recurrence of the problems we have been having with one of our partner companies for the last about 10 days.
Mema's answer: TELL THEM TO GET SMARTER MONKEYS WITH BETTER WRENCHES WORKING ON THEIR NETWORK!! SHEESH! They put in some new code to fix a problem and it blew their network out of the water. BACK THAT CODE OUT!!! It was a smallish problem til they went FIXING it.

It is the Groundhog Day of train wrecks... every time we think it is done wrecking, it starts over again.
Oh yeah... temperature dropped from 32* to 19* in the last couple hours. Several highways are closed because of ice and wrecks....so are some Interstate to Interstate ramps. NICE!! Gonna love this drive home!

Gonna ditch in a few. Meeting the BFF at the coffee shop across the street to hang out for a bit before I head home. Hopefully most of the traffic will have cleared. I'm going to take the side streets home. Just not sure about that last bridge hop across I-35. Should be an adventure.
