Ok, who has beards and staches?


I've only grown a goatie once in my whole adult life.


Sure I had that bad teenage mustache that your dad finally says "uh son I think it's about time..."


I can grow a full beard in about 2 days if I wanted to.

I do the goatee thing from time to time, but usually for only a couple of weeks. I get shocked at how much more white it is each time I grow it!

What you see is what you get with me. I did cut my hair real short for summer. I've had a mustache since I was 21 and a goatee for about 7-8 years. My wife hasn't seen me without a mustache ever. We'll be married 22 years on Saturday!

First, CONGRATULATIONS Ray!  Here's to the next 22.


Second, NO facial hair for me!  I've done it if a part I was playing called for it, but I look really bad.  I just have a face that does not support a beard or mustache.  They make me look very ethnic.

I walk across the hall and am at work in 15 seconds or less.  The only time I commute is if I go to the plant in Mexico.  That is a three hour drive one way.  Very long and boring. All I see are date trees, crop fields and then a lot of poverty when I cross the border.

Dylan, I really do.  I never realized just how blessed we are here.  Even space wise.  I was invited to the home of someone I met there, and the living quarters in Rome and Greece are so small.  They were in a 760 square foot apt.  I thought I was cramped in my 2200 square foot house.  This trip and my Mexico trips have made me really appreciate the opportunities we have here.  Especially cost wise.  The Euro is stronger against the dollar, but the average income in  Rome is only 1200 Euro per month, or maybe 1500 US dollars and they pay twice as much for everything that we do.  Gas was 2.19 per liter in one place I visited. 


 


Ultimo--not that I am inquiring about your salary, but what is the median there and rent costs in comparison to pay.

CP, I read where they were having a hard time ratifying a European Constitution. 


Did you hear anything about that while you were there and will that have an impact on the Euro's strength against the dollar?

I am not sure about the constitution, but I know that the Italians and Greeks are pissed about the Euro because their buying power has been reduced significantly.  the guide we hired in Rome said that they are paying almost double for everything from the conversion of the Lira to Euro.
