That would be me. That and the pink floyd song are about my two favorite. Ask Riggs who requested Bad and he will say Ruby!

I don't know if I have a favorite. But the reason I stopped dead in my tracks and joined was because of one song. I couldn't believe I could request John Mellencamps Small Paradise. That is one of my favorite Mellencamp tunes of all time. Everytime I hear it I play a mini movie in my mind of the song.
I had to join because this is the only place I know of that even has the song.
Jeremy you complete me. You had me at Small Paradise.

I notice that sometime people request my songs too.  I think it's like this...

A song is played so much and then you don't request it anymore but people like it so much that someone else requests it.  Just a theory.

We are all moths drawn to the same flame. Sooner or later one of us gets the wings burned.

Ray-

Mellencamp was the headliner (is STILL? the headliner) tonight at Summerfest; although I doubt (unfortunately) that he still even plays that song! TOO old school? I'll ask my buddy who went tonight when I see him tomorrow at Tom Petty/Black Crowes.

I've never heard him do Small Paradise in concert. Hey you'll like this. My wife and I are in the Check It Out video. Breifly, but were in it. I would have to point us out to anyone watching it.

I used to like Mellencamp. And then I moved down to Bloomington.  It's Mellencamp this, and Mellencamp that, and he stops by some of the restaurants in Bloomington here and there, and I've heard that he's pretty rude when he does.

My favorite song to request is probably INXS' Listen Like Thieves.  But I only request it half the time it plays, so there must be someone else out there who likes it too.

My favorite is John Pagano's "Change In My Life" from Leap of Faith. I loved that movie, and the song has always been a favorite of mine. I particularly like the fact that it's not popular. I don't have to share it with everyone

Me too MJ. I am the one wearing out on the request list. I just requested it five minutes ago! My 2 year old dances to it and tells me go Emily go Emily when she is dancing!

I like so much of the play list, but I'd have to give the nod to "Why Me" by Planet P Project.  Just like Ray I was drawn in by the fact that there were obscure songs taht you could request whenever you really want to hear them.  "Why Me" was the first one of my requests that JR added to the list.

Planet P! Holy cow what a blast from the past! I think Toney Carey was in Planet P- he does Fine Fine Day which is one of my all time favorite songs! Riggs put that one on the request boards for me!

It's not my "favorite" song but the one I request the most is Bryan Adams "Run To You".

As a Jr. Bass Player wanna be, I love the bass line in that song.

* Oops, edited to change "Me" to "You". Gotta start thinking while typing. *

Hey DT,

That's among my favorite Bryan Adams songs. But I always thought his music was great. I really like "Please Forgive Me", "One Night Love Affair", "Summer Of '69" and "Let's Make A Night To Remember" too.

He has an acoustic album out of some of those hits, it's actually live & acoustic, but they sound GREAT on that disc.
