He did a guitar duet with Chet Atkins.  Two good guitar players.

Last Laugh is a great song too Ray! I got old school Dire Straits coming up on request too- Skate Away. Man I loved that song for as long as you've been married, amigo!

I don't know why but this just reminded me of a funny Bruce Hornsby story. When the Pacers played the Lakers in the 2000 NBA Finals Bruce played the national anthem on piano. With all the media at the game space was as limited as I've ever seen it. Before the teams shoot around and before the doors open about three hours before game time he practices at mid court. After that he's done and waits to play before the tip off. Now its about 1/2 hour before the start and in a little closet just off the floor is this grand piano barely enough room to fit in the closet. Sitting at the piano is Bruce playing away. I remember thinking that had to be the smallest room he ever played. People would walk by not realizing who he was. I just hung arournd and listened as long as I could it was cool.

Ray I am not the biggest Hornsby fan, but I remember the early days of Riggs setting up this station and he played "every little kiss" by hornsby, and that was the first night I dug hornsby's music. the song had been around for 12 yrs or so before then, but it was hearing it here that I "got it" and dug it so much. I was on a kick. In fact, I think riggs gave me the cd as a christmas gift that year, I was yelling at him how much I dug the station and that song!

No, you are so this guy always making the food analogies.

I think is kind of insulting but you can have it if that's what you want.

Don't you like the napkin around the neck?

Dylan- wanna go? Me, you, Riggs if he wants? I am sort of scared of the new Knofler stuff, but that sailing to philadelphia stuff is other-wordly! I bet he hits on that!

His new one, Halcyon Days is a little different. It's like a theme album. It's not bad. One of those you have to listen to a few times. Even then it's ok. It does have Gonna Be Some Changes Made.

I'm trying to talk a buddy of mine, a huge Reds fan, to treking to Milwaukee to take in a Brewer game or two. I figure it would be fun to meet the guys I'm chatting with. But I don't know if that will happen. I'm waiting to see how my schedule plays out for the rest of the summer. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

If I head that way you all will know it. I'll be expecting the red carpet at the state line. I was in Milwaukee years ago for the Colts - Packers game at county stadium. About 20 degrees and snow flurries. The Pack won but it was close. The thing I remember most is the teams sitting on the same side of the field. We had crappy end zone seats that would have been well down the third base line. But we were there baby. Wearing the colors. We tailgated with a lot of Packer fans all around us. It was fun everyone was cool. A lot of good natured ribbing. Nothing like we got in Pittsburgh. Those cats are mean. They even busted out a window in my buddys van. But that's another story....

I hear you ray. One of the best times I ever had at a Brewers game was with a bunch of Twinkee fans. Their team was in last place, a joke, and yet a carload of these guys came down to watch their team get their butts kicked by the 2nd last place Brewers. We were in the cheap seats. I totally respected that; these guys came to support their cruddy team. Great guys, it wasn't about rivalry, but overall love of the sport. It was a great afternoon. To heck with the crud on the field; it was more about ball fans from different places uniting. I know that I would not travel to Minnesota to see the Brewers lose (back when they were in the AMerican league).

now star if I knew what the glue thing was, I'd react appropriately! right now I am. Florida is a LONG trip! And I don't think Brittney Spears is on tour? I'd hate for you to come to Milwaukee and have to deal with like Dokken or Ron Keel as your ticket thanks JD!! that would be BAD! BAD!
