We had another snow day yesterday that we really couldn't afford. I started coughing in the afternoon and now I am full-blown sick. I probably wouldn't be at work if it weren't for payroll in which I still do not have all the papers I need!
Friday we put a cross-trainer on layaway. It's on clearance price and is the type we want. Just waiting for tax return to show up to go pay for it.
Saturday was a bad day so shall skip.
Sunday we had breakfast with The Girl and had her put on our mobile phone acct due to some drama from her mama. I don't know what that woman is thinking! The Girl is already talking about not ever coming home once she goes away for college!
I hope everyone is well. I have to try and do some work. I really just wanna sleep tho.

Rainy morning. I am okay with it. Just glad it isn't snow. I think I encountered every form of precipitation on the way home from work last night - rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow. The temps can change quite a bit over 30 miles.
I am going with today has to be better than yesterday theory.

Today would be a great day to still be in bed. I'm severely lacking motivation. Fortunately the daughter in law called this morning to say that she lucked up into some alternate child care arrangements for the rest of the week. I'm sure I could deal, but right now thinking of a 40 minute drive out to her place, staying there til after midnight, then 40 minute drive home and up for work tomorrow seems impossible.

Woo: Too bad you can't "skip" the day before you know it's gonna suck! That would be GREAT! I'd make lots of use of that option.
JD: I hear ya man. I'm feelin' mighty burnt out myself lately. My job doesn't offer any mental stimulation at all. I think the search is going to be on for new employment soon. My hope was that I could hang on and eventually get promoted, but I don't know if I can put in two or three years of this while I wait.
Everybody else, I hope you had a great day. I really miss chatting around here. Work has just gotten so busy since mid-January that when I get home I pretty much go right to bed.
It's supposed to calm down around mid-March, so maybe by then I'll be able to start staying up until 11 or so once in awhile and get back in the groove with you all.
It looks like it's been kind of dead around here anyway. Maybe we need to bring Robby back to spice things up again! Or I could just take on 15 new aliases and do it myself.
Mid-winter blues maybe. The holidays are over. The next one isn't until late May (unless you celebrate Easter). Spring is still a way off. Footballs over, baseball doesn't start for awhile.
A very blah time of year I suppose.
Plus I think we're all getting tired of seeing the sun in only short increments.
usually come February, Riggs, that post football season pre-spring season is when I burn out. Same routine, same friggin voices at work in the same frickin pitch with the same problems day in day out. dark, cold, too much indoors.
I am hoping that a bunch of beer or wine and tunage with nothin to do for a couple of days will cure me.
